Cameron Marsh, 3 years old when he died as a direct result of child abuse in Maury County, TN. His daddy was sentenced to 32 years for his death. Cameron’s killer is up for parole in 2016. Children from across Tennessee plan to be at this hearing.
Jack
Permission given by both parents Mr. Thomas Stark and Misty Stark.
Jack Stark, 8 months old when he died as a direct result of child abuse in Kentucky (has family in Maury County, Tn) Aunt was sentenced to 10 years. Will only serve a little over ten years.

Carlos

Carlos Francisco Aguilar Jr, 16 weeks old when he died as a direct result of child abuse in Maury County, TN. His accused killer is his father and is awaiting trial, which will be held September 15th, 2014 in Columbia, TN.

Kambria Noelle Simmons, 8 months old when she died as a direct result of child abuse in Hohenwald (she was born in Columbia). Her alleged killer is her mothers former boyfriend Kyle O’Brien, 23 and is now awaiting trial.

Sandra Ann Cates, 8 month old when she died as a direct result of child abuse in Maury County. Mommies boyfriend, the alleged, is awaiting trial. *Edit …killer was allowed to plea out. He will serve less than 30 years. According to Sandra’s birth father, Robert Cates stated he was denied contact with his daughter during the last months of her life. Mr Cates attempted suicide immediately after signing a hospital release to pull his baby girl off life support and donate her organs. On the morning of October 18, 2015 Robert Cates took his life.

Colten

Colten May was 23 months old when he died as a direct result of child abuse in Smithville, Tn, on May 17, 2015. Both his mother and her boyfriend are alleged to have caused his death and are awaiting trial. Fundraisers are slated throughout 2016 in order to build a monument in his honor.
Braylon

Braylon Bishop Gonzales was 18 months old when he died on July 1, 2005 as a direct result of child abuse in Port Huron, Michigan.
Braylon is the first child entrusted to the children of C.A.A.R.E. that has no ties to the state of Tennessee. The extended family of baby Braylon, through his great uncle Scott, had asked that C.A.A.R.E. give their little one a way to fight back against the crime that took his life. Upon receiving Braylon’s release letter from his mother, Bray-Bray (as the children call him) now has a home and platform to utilize his voice. His story is especially haunting.
